This edition is hopped with Equanot, Simcoe, and Idaho 7. Appearance is fine with dark amber brew and abundant foam in the Brigand chalice. Lush and sudsy in the mouth. Resiny and dank flavors dominate with a distinct bitterness. Seems quite malty and rich and I wonder if the ABV is higher than the generic can lists.
Warm and almost sweet with a note of chestnuts, yams, and a hint of fruitcake. Long bitter aftertaste, but none of the acidity or astringency that plague the hazy IPAs. From the 16 oz four-pack purchased at the brewery pub. Canned on 02/24/21 so it's been around awhile but stored refrigerated.
