Apparently this is Farmstrong's 500th beer. Handsome appearance with very dark brew and abundant beige foam in the Maresdous goblet. Tastes of burnt sugar, dark roasted grain, and cocoa. Malty and rich with just a tang of charred bitterness.
Hops are slow to emerge but the bitterness grows somewhat in the aftertaste but still modest. Overall this is a very friendly and hazardously quaffable dark beer. It's actually a better Stout than I've had anywhere for quite a while. From the 32 oz crowler can filled at the brewery tap.
