Here's a powerful dark brew just in time for a warmer trend in spring. Tastes like something from a Breughel painting of peasants frolicking with sloshing tankards, some horizontal. Very dark chestnut brown with fine-grained beige foam. Sweet but tangy with loads of malt. Aroma of roasted grain. Tastes of mellow malt, dark caramel, with a burnt sugar finish. Rich but not raisiny; more like a touch of date in the finishs. Overall, a highly sippable strong brew. From the 16 oz crowler can filled at the brewery taproom.
