Clear dark reddish brown with tall stiff foam in the Fullers imperial pint. Aroma is both woodsy and reminiscent of a concrete basement, but not unpleasant. Flavors of dark roasted grain with a touch of caramel. This is surprisingly bitter in the aftertaste, which would invite some comment from anyone of Irish persuasion. However it does go down easy and the sudsy mouthfeel is admirable. From the 16 oz crowler can filled at the taproom.
