Tasted from a 16 oz can bought in Albuquerque, NM.
L - Dark golden color that is almost a light brown. Extremely clear. Off-white head is thick on the initial pour but fades to a thick, sticky ring around the edge of the glass with associated lacing.
S - Tropical fruit hop aromas dominate, with some low, grainy malt in the background. Yeast character is clean.
T - Strong, slightly harsh hops bitterness, wth sharp, lemon-like, citrus and pine flavors. Malt is very much in the background and not really a presence.
F - Medium body. Low carbonation. Strong, harsh hops bitterness mingles with moderate alcohol warmth.
O - Overall I find this IPA harsh and one-dimensional. Flavors are not pleasant enough and the components are not balanced enough to make up for the harsh notes.

On tap at brewery. This comes off as a weak APA. Very faint aroma, followed by bland taste. Overall decent look and feel, but kind of bland. This might have been mistaken for the session IPA.
