On tap at the brewery. Served a deep brown color with a tan head and bit of lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, with bit of coffee in the background. Taste of roasted malt, coffee and bit of chocolate. Mild bitterness and a fairly dry finish. Moderate body, slight gritty feel that gives it a bit of character. pretty decent beer.

On tap. Poured an opaque, jet-black color with a small, tan head of foam. It smelled of flaked oats, toffee and caramel. Sweet chocolate taste with caramel and a mild bitterness.
