473 ml can served cold into a pint glass. LCBO pirchase for around $4 CDN.
Appearance - Slightly hazy dark amber colored brew with two finger sof frothy white head. Very good staying power.
Smell - A bit of stone fruit, some peaches and apricots in the nose with passionfruit backing things up. Not a terribly aromatic nose, but it does smell good.
Taste - A touch of stone fruit, but a little more overripe mango then maybe some guava to close. Faily bitter and some pine in the aftertaste. Pretty balanced honestly. Very strong bready backbone. Residential earthiness in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium-full bodied with good and bright carbonation. Finishes semi-dry.
Overall - Quite a solid DIPA, not a world beater and the standout is the nose with an interesting and delicious combination, unfortunately the lack of intensity keeps Earl of Adelaide from driving even higher. Worth a try, it's well made beer.
