Received a can from the great BA @thebeers
This is a trippel trapped in the skin of a NE Haze bomb
A:Looks like a New IPA Hazy yellow with a thick fluffy head.
S: I can smell the Belgian yeast. It fights for attention with tangerine and pineapple
Taste: Belgian yeast with some banana fights with orange juice and rind bitters.
Mf:: Alcohol is well hidden. Clean and dry
O: I'm not sure if I like this but it definitely hits the mark of combining a Trippel with a juice bomb.
I wish I had a dozen of these so I could drink one a month and see how it changes

Pours a cloudy, but vibrant tequila-sunrise orange with close to two fingers of antique white head. Leaves thin sheets of lacing.
Enticing aroma of pears, pear skins, pineapple, dank jungle hops, light white pepper and some fungal yeast. It's like a tripel and a NEIPA had a baby and the baby's name was Plant Matter. Convenient.
Much more bitter than expected, even from an "American" style. Much less of the pear and the pineapple show in the taste, but it still maintains the jungle dankness. There's rye pepperiness, more of the yeast and a close to chalky bitterness in the aftertaste. The chalkiness isn't ideal, but it does become a bit more pithy as it warms.
Medium bodied with a really nice feel that approaches creamy for the style. Nice carbonation.
This is a quality, boundary-pushing tripel. Wish there was a canned-on date so I could tell how fresh it is. Can't imagine it would age gracefully.
