Date coded with: "on bottom of can found 63 stamped in aluminum, black(?) watercolor ink splotch." I don't know what that means and when I called they told me to call back Monday.
Look is very hazy, almost looks like canned pineapple juice. Head dissipated quick. Smell is of very fruity hop aroma. Taste is too sweet to the style for me, would rather they beget more alcohol. The alcohol is well hidden. The lactose inclusion is interesting. The flavor is little flawed.
For the price and availability at Giant food stores I am thankful. One of the better choices in the supermarket.
Thank you Stickman for an awesome local brew!

From an undated 16oz can into a tulip glass.
Pours a nearly opaque dark yellowish brown with about two fingers of white head. Great retention and decent lacing.
Smells of oranges, peach, strawberry and a bit of soapiness.
Taste is quite sweet, almost sugary. Didn't realize this has lactose in it...
Medium bodied with slight stickiness. Low carbonation. Bitter/alcoholy/sweet aftertaste.
Pretty sure this is the first lactose-added IPA I've had, so hard to judge. Personally, it's a miss for me. Wish there was a date on the can to gage whether this is fresh.

A murky dark amber brew tumbles from a pint can into a clear glass Imperial pint mug. It has a soft white head and glass lacing. The aroma is mild, mostly of danky hops. The taste is rich and sweetly malty forward. Then the hops do a great job of bringing a bitter and mostly dry finish. There's even some earthiness behind the prominent tastes. Store Bought Is Fine is fine. Maybe even better than fine as it delivers everything a double IPA should. Malt and hops star, while yeast and alcohol make a tasteful presence. It's full bodied, on the viscous side of a standard DIPA. There's plenty of sediment at the finish. Well done!

Poured into grip shaped goblet: color is hazy straw gold, head is brighter white with fine bubbles, head presents 1 finger thick and dissipates to whispy top and ring along the glass, minimal lacing.
Smell is subdued, but notable hop aromas of citrus rind, grapefruit pith, mixed tropicals, light bread and biscuit malt.
Taste follows these notes with bitter citrus characteristics and light booziness leading and finishing - citrus rind, tangerine, grapefruit pith, light tropicals, herbal hop notes, then malt takes a backseat to hops and bitterness but some light toast and biscuit.
Mouthfeel is crisp carbonation, moderate sweetness, very nice, strong bitterness, drying finish.
Overall a very good ipa/neipa middle style - very dominant bitterness counters sweetness and neo hop stylings but good corps flavors.

16 oz can into a nonic pint glass. Hazy pale yellow look, kind of like pineapple juice. White head that left some sticky lacing in the glass. Smell was tropical fruit cocktail with citrus, mango, pineapple. A really nice, inviting aroma. Taste follows with the citrus fruit. Sweetness hits the tongue first, then the fruit, mainly pineapple, mango, guava, orange. Then it finishes with a crack of bitterness that isn't aggressive, but does clean up the palate some. Feel is medium bodied with a light carbonation. This beer is smooth...dangerously so. It goes down easy for an 8% beer. Overall, it's a really good beer and just tastes fresh and flavorful. It really hits a note for me and I will look for this again.

Love this beer, balanced, juicy, and just the right amount of hop.

Very tasty double IPA that hides its 8% ABV very well. Pours a pale, hazy yellow, with plenty of firm white head, in a 16 oz. Willi glass. Lots of citrus and flower on the nose, same flavors predominate on the tongue, balanced with some bready malts and a hint of piney bitterness. Medium to low carbonation and silky, smooth mouthfeel. Really easy drinking - nice job by Stickman.
