16 oz can into nonic pint glass
jet black in color, very dark tan head. good had retention and lacing. top notch aroma of vanilla, dark chocolate, espresso and cinnamon. as it warms it's heavenly. taste is mildly sweet - but great bold flavors that all work together for an easy drinking and very tasty brew. thick, silkly body. overall probably the best beer I've had from Stickman yet.

Stickman Brews "Breakfast For Dummies"
gravity pour cask at the brewery on 1 April 2017
$5 / 8 oz.
Notes: Typical stout appearance with an opaque brown-black body beneath a short head of tan. The head retention and lacing are both very good. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, cinnamon, and vanilla. The coffee smells like medium roast beans, not the best really fresh and oily ones, but of average quality. Fortunately that doesn't matter in the flavor where its character isn't so strong that it doesn't allow the chocolate, cinnamon, and vanilla to come through - so it all works out perfectly. There's some fruitiness to the flavor as well, and it's got a moderate bitterness that along with the roastiness dries it in the finish where it lingers gently. Light-medium in body and smooth (of course this is via cask so it had better be). Really superb, and a bit unique in comparison to a lot of other "breakfast" beers. I'll certainly look for this again but I have a feeling that the cask presentation has done a lot for it and I'm not sure it will fare as well on tap where the carbonic acid will give it some bite and cut down on its smoothness.
