Works for me. Tasty stuff from an outfit I hope to get more from.
L: from the can in the can is stylish and it’s absurdity.
S: sweetness. Caramel. Little bit of happy goodness.
Tea: taste good. Liver is on the nose. Nice little piece of caramel sweetness.
F: smooth. Very nice.
Oh: it’s a winner as far as I’m concerned.

This pretty bright copper colored liquid, now in a clear Imperial pint glass, was recently inside a pint can. It's well carbonated and it births a sizeable off-white head. Disappointingly, there's almost no aroma. Especially missing is that nice sweet malt smell so associated with the style. The taste is clean and slightly malty. It's not at all too sweet for the amount of malt flavor delivered. It includes the sort of flavor you'd get from a baked pretzel, without the salt. This has just the amount of sufficient mouthfeel and taste to be considered a very good one. The glass lacing was sparse.

Poured into narrow pint glass: color is copper, transparent, head is off white with fine bubbles, presents 1/4 inch thick, dissipates to a thin top.

Smell is light sweet malt, great munich malt character, crisp hop character but not detracting from the malt.

Taste is follows - very good malt character with similar style defining notes of munich malt, notable by the subtle grape nut like character, some additional bread like notes, then finishing with crisp, grassy hops.

Mouthfeel is moderately carbed, moderately sweet, a bit sharp finish from either carbonation or moderate bitterness.

Overall an excellent oktoberfest/marzen with great malt character, crisp hops and drinkability.

16 oz can direct from the brewery, poured in to a dimpled mug.

pours a fairly dark orange copper color, a bit opaque, with foamy white head that eventually fades to a thin ring around the glass. Aroma is bready, grainy, a bit earthy. Taste also has a bit of mild caramel. Fuller bodied for the style, nice smooth mouthfeel, drinks very nice.
