I have looked all over for information on this beer, yet it remains an enigma of sorts. Thank you, Houser for this beer, much appreciated. Poured into a pint glass at 40 degrees. A massive three finger head with an impressive retention. The head bright white and is a billowy, creamy, airy, and foamy. The color of the beer is SRM 4 a pale gold color. The clarity of the beer is clear with a touch of haziness. Carbonation bubbles are dancing within the enigma.
Initial aroma of the beer is grass, herbal, pine, grapefruit, crackers, yeast, lightly toasted malts. Additional aroma in the beer is earthy, light tropical fruit, and touch of funk.
The beer's flavors are herbal, grass, resin, pine, crackers, grapefruit, lemons, yeast, lightly toasted malt, grassy, funky, light tropical fruit, and earthy.
The mouthfeel of the beer is creamy and dry. The body of the beer is medium, a medium plus carbonation, and a medium finish.
This IPA is up there with something funky going on. Strong herbal and citrus notes are the dominant hop profile. The beer's appearance is phenomenal looking. The lacing on the glass and the retention is a thing of beauty.
