Smells like an orange. No head. First taste is good but leaves a bitter after taste, likely from all the orange. Great can though with a good story.

Well, it already smells good. A pint can was cracked open and emptied into a clear glass Imperial pint mug. The color unleashed is a copper tinged amber. It's hazy, but not murky. The head is white, modest and enduring. The aroma is closer to an Imperial IPA than a New England style. Specifically, it's more pleasantly pungent than those, bearing notes of hops, malt and yeast. Gratefully, there's no starchy inclusion. The taste is more like a good NEIPA. It's not overly malty sweet, bitterly hopped, nor does it bring the hit of alcohol most Double/Imperial IPAs do. Yet, it does bring enough malt for a good backbone and enough hoppiness, mostly earthy, so you knows this is an IPA. A very drinkable and well flavored brew that is really good across the ratings board. Some nice sediment awaited at the bottom of the glass. Good stuff.
