My wife and I stopped here to check out the beers of this recently-opened brewpub. This is a small storefront setting that is located at the south end of a retail building on the man commercial street in this small community. The main seating area is just inside the door, and the small bar is toward the rear. A small room at the back of the space houses the brewing equipment.
The pub had just opened for the day so we were the first customers. The owner/brewer came out of the rear room to serve our beers and to provide some friendly chat. We had a sampler-sized glass of all 6 of the beers that were available. The style choices varied from a Belgian Dubble, to an Alt, to a Sour Saison, to a Berliner Weiss and then a Belgian Tripel. On top of those styles was what the owner called an Imperial IPA Barleywine. (I'd call it a Triple IPA as well as very delicious!) All of the beers were scored at 4.0 or higher, so this brewery's reputation for great beers should take off soon.
The brewing system is small so that the taps rotate frequently, and Facebook is kept up to date with the offerings. Growlers are available to go, and the place is food friendly. Food trucks are sometimes available too. Packaged snacks can be purchased, and soft drinks and water are sold in bottles.
