Reviewed from notes. The appearance was a dark brown color with a slim cap of a little white head. Slid off into the beer pretty quick, no lace. The aroma centered around some sweet milk chocolate, some mocha, light nuts - somewhat sweet with a little bit of Nutella-like smooth sweetness. The flavor leaned into the sweetness of the prior mentioned flavors. Aftertaste was extremely smooth sweet. Sweet chocolate/Nutella-like aftertaste and finish. The feel was between light and medium bodied and for a sweet stout had some sessionability about it. ABV felt as projected. Pretty smooth along my tongue. Overall, most of these "sweet stouts" I try tend to be dessert beers, and this one slightly is but perhaps due to the lower ABV and "sessionable" sort of light feel to it. This wouldn’t be a bad choice for a late Summer’s late afternoon session.
