32 ounce crowler into tulip glass, filled on 8/2/2019. Pours Lightly hazy golden/amber, light orange/pine color with a 1 finger fairly dense and rocky light pink head with great retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a light amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big sour/tart/tangy cranberry, strawberry, hibiscus, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, floral, grass, wheat, and white bread dough; with lighter notes of coriander, peppercorn, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of hibiscus, fruity/acidic yeast, sea salt, pale/wheat malts, and light coriander notes; with big strength. Taste of big sour/tart/tangy cranberry, strawberry, hibiscus, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, floral, grass, wheat, and white bread dough; with lighter notes of coriander, peppercorn, lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate lactic tartness, hibiscus tang, and light coriander spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy cranberry, strawberry, hibiscus, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, white grape/wine, sea salt, hay, straw, floral, grass, wheat, white bread dough, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of hibiscus, fruity/acidic yeast, sea salt, pale/wheat malts, and light coriander flavors; with an awesome malt/tart/sourness and tangy hibiscus balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp finishing. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tart/sourness and tangy hibiscus. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy/acidic/tangy, and fairly saline balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.7%. Overall this is an awesome flavored gose. All around awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of hibiscus, fruity/acidic yeast, sea salt, pale/wheat malts, and light coriander flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/refreshing to drink with the mellowly acidic/tangy/drying finish; not overly lactic/salty. Awesome balanced juicy/jammy hibiscus and Lacto complexity; with a great pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. Mild residual sweetness with crisp acidic/tangy dryness. A really enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example as expected. Not overwhelming on any aspect.
