Berliner base with heaps of strawberry, Michigan-grown rhubarb, milk sugar and granola! On draft in the pub and in cans. This product uses fresh fruit, so make sure you keep your cans cold and drink them fresh! By the way, "cold" does not mean "cellar temp". ;)

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned in 8/2019. Pours very hazy deep ruby red/orange/copper color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big juicy/tart'/tangy strawberries, rhubarb, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, granola, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Slight plastic phenols in the aromas, but not overwhelming. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of strawberry, rhubarb, fruity/acidic yeast, granola, lactose, and pale/wheat malt notes; with big strength. Taste of big juicy/tart'/tangy strawberries, rhubarb, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, granola, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate fruity/lactic tartness, fruit tang, and light spiciness on the finish. Lingering notes of juicy/tart'/tangy strawberries, rhubarb, fruit skin/seed, lemon, lime, orange, peach, pear, melon, red/green apple, red grape/wine, hay, straw, grass, granola, cream, wheat, cracker, white bread, light pepper/lacto funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Excellent complexity, robustness, and balance of strawberry, rhubarb, fruity/acidic yeast, granola, lactose, and pale/wheat malt flavors; with an awesome malt/tartness and tangy fruit balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering tartness and tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately creamy/grainy, and acidic/tangy/tannic balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.9%. Overall this is an excellent fruited milkshake Berliner weisse. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of strawberry, rhubarb, fruity/acidic yeast, granola, lactose, and pale/wheat malt flavors; very smooth and refreshing to drink with the modestly acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish; not overly lactic. Awesome balance of juicy/jammy fruit and lacto complexity; with a nice granola, lactose, pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. Mild residual sweetness with lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive style example as expected. No complaints, would have scored better without the plactic-y note.
