Hey, it’s Icy Strait. OMG what a great place to have a beer. Location location location!!!

Icy Straight Brewing is a seasonal brewery geared towards when the ships come in. No food is served here, so it is more of a local tasting room atmosphere. There is a small inside portion of the building and then a covered porch in back with a table and stands. The view out back is a beautiful one of the harbor and makes for a really relaxing place to grab a beer. Crowd was a mix of cruise ship passengers who made the mile plus walk and a couple locals. Service was prompt and friendly. There were six house made beers on tap and all were tasty and made well to style. None of the beers would be anything i would rush out to get, but all were well done. That said, there is a certain heart and friendliness here that made me want to visit multiple times. Just a really pleasant place to grab a pint.
