Pours a medium-dark amber with a medium-sized, off-white, foamy head with good retention. Some decent lacing. The smell is rather sweet and malty with a light hop presence. The taste is the same with moderate toasty grain stealing the show and bringing some nice caramel sweetness. The hops are light but come on a bit stronger on the lightly bitter finish. There’s nothing really unique about this beer, but it’s just a very enjoyable, well-rounded, easy-drinker. Quite nice.

some smoke flavor. Grainy, some malt, not the best of the style. Dry finish, with a bit of hop leaf acidic bitterness. medium mouthfeel. Darker colour, thought I had a shvartzbier. Could use more malt.Had at Ludwig's Beer Garden in Phily. Not too drinkable.

Dug this one out of the bottom of the beer fridge tonight. Pours clear bronze with a fluffy white, one finger head. The aroma was grainy and mild, not too much there. The taste is bready and caramelized malt with a grainy flavor. It has a nice earthy hop finish. In some way the mouthfeel stands out with this one. Very smooth and creamy with a medium body and the right amount of carbonation to help it out. Overall a solid example of an ofest.

Pours a crystal clear, copper-amber with gold highlights; topped by a cream colored head that holds well and leaves some decent lace. Rich, sweetish and lightly toasted Vienna malts greet you in the nose. The body is medium with a standard carbonation level, and it passes smooth and lightly creamy across the palate. The flavor delivers rich, mildly toasty and bready Munich malts balanced by a firm bitterness. Hop flavors are limited, however, with just an undercurrent of flavor to help balance its maltiness. Still, it finishes fairly dry; although the emphasis seems to be on malt. Very nice! A satisfying beer to say the least. Well done!

Caramel in color. Thin head that reduced to a spotty residue on the surface during the drink. The aroma was of malt. The flavor was mainly malt, caramel, and light hop bitterness. The malt level was just right, refreshing and not overbearing like some oktoberfests. Medium bodied.

The mouthfeel was a balance of smoothness at the start with a bit of crispness during the swallow. Nice clean aftertaste. Nicely drinkable and very enjoyable.

Stopped by the Austrian Village for a quick beer. This one poured an orangey-amber color with a dense and foamy white head. Little bits of spices and a sweet malt emanates from the beer. The body is full in flavor with a caramel sweetness, that’s balanced by a dry and bitter lemon finish. This is a wholesome brew that could have getting a bit old in the keg, but was delicious regardless.

Screw off top but didn’t have any problems with the carbonation. Pours a dark golden color although its nothing like the normal concept of American Oktoberfest it was still pleasing to the eyes. Had a big white head for minute or tow then had sticky lace that rested on top till the finish. Smelled of husky sweet grains with a slight twinge of noble hops. Tasted like zwieback with a hint of alcohol and touch of minty hops. Mouthful is somewhat thin but overall is a very drinkable beer.
