Bottle 0.5L.
Clear reddish/brown body with small, frothy, tan head, mostly diminishing with virtually no lacing.
Moderate malty (caramel, light roasted) and light hoppy aroma, with notes of alcohol.
Moderate sweet and light-to-moderate bitter flavour with some acidic note.
Light-to-medium body with watery-to-oily texture; soft carbonation; light alcoholic feeling in the finish.

From the unique Engel bottle, it pours a darker coppery amber with a small head, fading to a ring and a large island. A lot of malt in the nose and mouth. Enjoyable.

As of 2025, it is now in the standard euro-bottle. It pours with a nice large thick head that slowly reduces.

500ml bottle served in a snifter.

A: Pours a clear dark amber forming a medium light beige and thin bubbled head. Medium retention and many lacings left

S: Extremely grainy. Caramel malts are very evident. A bit fruity. Very bready Lager-like yeasts. Roasted malts, honey and some flowery hops

T: Follows the nose, sweet caramel malts in upfront. Strong notes of honey. Toffee, roasted malts. Very bready too. Lager style bready yeasts. Flowery hops. Slightly hoppy bitter end

M: Medium and bit molasses body. Medium carbonation. Bittersweet aftertaste

O: Good drinkability. Classic German Bock. Recommended
