Legend Beer Brew House

Named on the outside of the building and on glasses simply as "Legend Beer". Situated on the 2nd floor of a large (for Hanoi), modern building overlooking a square in the old quarter. Large area with tables and chairs inside and more on the large balcony. The city was hectic the day I was there as Vietnam were playing in the AFF final and the streets were perhaps more full than usual with flag waving fans. Nice to sit and watch the activity below, but not much atmosphere otherwise. Better to search out one of the many tiny beer bars in the area!

I went to the branch near Hoan Kiem lake where you can sit at the outside table with a glass of beer and see how people live in this hectic city also how crazy the traffic is going on.

The restaurant has 2 house brews available on tap along with some local and foreign bottles. The food variety is decent which is mainly European dish. I did try Sandwich and Spaghetti Carbonara and they were just average considering the price. Anyway, still an okay place to go. I would recommend to sit at outside table, there are many things for you to enjoy watching.

There is more than one branch of legends, I visited the branch near the lake. Nice and clean with a nice view of the lake. Expensive by local standards. 2 beers on available both are pretty average. Food is poor and expensive.
