Brown color with red highlights and a thin head with short retention.
Somewhat citrusy aroma with notes of passion fruit with oranges, licorice, unsweetened chocolate, smoke and red fruits. A bit unexpected.
Flavor with mild smoked notes, unsweetened chocolate, some spices, berries, citrusy hops, toasted and roasted malts and cola. Dry aftertaste with a mild bitterness.
Light body with mild carbonation.
Probably the Oaxaca chocolate with American hops gave an unusual note to this beer. They should beef up ingredients to highlight its flavors to decrease the slightly watery feeling.
