Enjoyed at the brewery grand opening.
A - Poured a hazy light golden hue with a thin head that fades to leave a light halo.
S - Aromas of tuttifruiti bubblegum galore. The fruit really leaps out. The barnyard funk is subtle almost overpowered by the fruit. Light esters play into that. Really aromatic.
T - Taste is similar to the nose, tutti fruiti up front, however, there is a rather odd taste I can't quite place on the finish. Has to be that earthy mosaic clashing with the that's Belgian esters. Strong bitter finish thanks to the mosaic hops. Maybe phenols?
M - Mouthfeel is brightly carbonated, dry, crisp, clean.
O - Overall this started of great with awesome tutti fruity notes, however, in the middle odd that beer esters and phenols lie. Now, if that can be fixed (the phenolic aspect if that's what it is) this beer would be an awesome blending of styles. I hope to revisit this one.
