Bright, crisp, floral. Pours a beautiful light gold that ripples with lively bubbles. Soft, puffy one-finger head lingers for a while. Beautiful looking beer.
When it comes to the aroma and taste - if I didn't know any better I would have thought this was a hefeweizen. It's more floral and fruity than I expected with ester-rich notes of banana combined with the familiar light dusting of clove. Floral hops lead to a nice spicy kiss at the end. As a beer - this is very drinkable: crisp, light, bright, refreshing, snappy carbonation, effervescent on the palate. As a kolsch - this seems like a variant of the style. It's a good beer however you cut it but it has its own style.

Enjoyed at the grand opening. Hopped exclusively with hallertau hops. Uses all local malts to from Valley Malt.
A - Poured a slightly hazy pale straw hue with a thin white head that fades to leave light wisps and a thin halo.
S - Aromas of light cracker grains, lightly floral, faint hay.
T - Taste is similar to the nose, light sweet malts, faint grains, good light soft floral hops. Maybe a little melon, super faint bitterness.
M - Mouthfeel is brightly carbonated, crisp, clean finish.
O - Overall this was s solid kolsch. Maybe a touch on the sweeter side but overall a solid first beer.
