For the ABV - this brown ale sings. Enjoyed from a growler four days after being capped. Chocolate brown pour with a moderate head that lingers. Nutty, earthy and roasted malt aroma. Taste is slightly bitter hops, toasted grains, roasted malt and nutty. Mouthfeel is exceptional - soft, slightly sweet with a light bitterness. Easy drinking but a bit of a lingering bitter aftertaste.

Enjoyed at the brewery.
A - Poured a hazy brown hue with a thin light mocha hue with a thin lacing.
S - Aromas of light malt sweetness, little caramel, light nuttiness. Faint roast.
T - Taste is similar to the nose, light malt sweetness and caramel. Decent nuttiness going on. Light light bitterness.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, clean.
O - Overall this beer was rather solid. Good malts and toasted grains. Solid representation of the style.
