Almost black with a tan head.
Smell is subtle with roasted malt being prevalent with some chocolate notes.
The taste is sweet and smooth. There's definitely a lot of chocolate and a little coffee. It has a creamy mouth feel.
I got a growler of this to have at Easter and I think it was a good pairing seeing as it is sweet and chocolatey. This was very good and I would get it again.

The appearance was a dark brown close to black color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a moderate pace. Slight lace, wanting to stick but slid fairly quick. The aroma had some milk chocolate, coffee creamer, coffee beans, somewhat roasty, but quaint and sweet too (slightly like espresso bean). The flavor leaned towards the sweet side and tried to bring in a subtle roastiness but that wasn’t quite there. Aftertaste was full of the sweetness, milk chocolate and lactose. The finish was sweet. The palate was roughly medium bodied, perhaps just a touch under with a good carbonation about it. ABV felt good. Pretty smooth along my tongue. Overall, one of those milk stouts that is coming close to being slightly more balanced than some others. But not entirely there. Almost and well, I think I could go at this one again.
