Dark, fairly full-bodied, very malty and on the sweet side. Very slight effervescence. A decent example of this type of beer. Would have enjoyed a little more complexity to the flavor profile, but maybe that is not what a Scotch ale offers, I need to do more research on that. Still, if you like the type, this one is worth trying.

Reddish hue with a tan head.
Smells like biscuits and dried fruit.
Very malt forward and sweet taste as you would expect from this style. Similar to the nose but the dried fruit is not as strong and maybe some caramel notes.
Very drinkable and tasty Scotch ale. It has a lot of flavor but doesn't feel as thick or heavy as this style can end up sometimes.
