The pour is the color of strong iced tea with ruby highlights.
The taste is, well that of a barley wine if it was a 5 or 6 percent instead of 11.5 percent. The flavors are curiously mild. The toffee taste, a tiny chocolate and Cheesecake Factory dark rolls. Just, for lack of a more accurate term, weak.
The feel is a little lighter than expected for the style.
OA, congrats on 10 years Trail Point. You have brewed some amazing beers, this isn’t one of them.
