The pour is morning coffee brown with a light brown head that struggles to cover the surface, yet leaves decent lacing.
The taste is coffee forward, warm white bread, vanilla (no harshness from the beans, so maybe a flavoring?) cocoa and general malty goodness.
The feel is full yet thin for the style. I don’t expect heavy viscosity but I do expect a decent heft to the feel, this falls a bit short.
OA, one of a mixed pack of four different BBA imperial stouts with an assortment of additives or adjuncts.
A pretty good, not great, but pretty good foray into the BBA Imperial Stout mixed 4 pack.
