This is a German Hefeweizen which is a wheat beer. Lil Hefe uses a specialty yeast that as it ferments creates flavors of banana and clove. The wheat malt used makes this beer creamy and smooth, combine that with the unique banana and clove flavors and you get a beer that is best enjoyed during the warmer months (although we like it year-round)
