Anti Clarity snuck up on me. I received my bottle as a gift from a very good trading buddy and friend of mine - quite generous, as it turns out. I'd been sitting on this one to share with friends, but as it turns out, I'm glad that I drank it by myself. It's killer.
The beer appears to be your average stout - it does vary from style a bit in that it's tremendously loaded with adjuncts... not the usual for a Russian imperial. But - it works. The beer has just a tiny millimeter of deep brown head. It smells quite strongly of cocoa, vanilla, and coffee. The flavors leap at you immediately. Unfortunately, the cocoa is just slightly powdery, but I didn't dock anything but feel for that. Everything else is firing on all cylinders. It's a fantastic dessert beer - top notch.
This isn't even barrel-aged - what the hell? I'm just imagining how much better it might have been in a bourbon barrel. Add 8 or 12 months in Heaven Hill barrels and this would be the new, ultra-hyped beer that everyone would be chasing.

A- Jet black, almost no head, looks like motor oil
S- Dark Roast Coffee and a touch of sweetness from the vanilla
T- Rich roasted malts and coffee. Just a bit of vanilla coming in on the end, but works really well.
F- Thick with lowish carb
O- Very good stout. Reminds me a lot of FFF Crack the Skye which was one of my favorites from last year
