Excited to get into a whole new series of these holiday stout offerings as they are really well done for the most part.
These are beautiful stouts with a chewy mouthfeel. Nice retention too of a one-finger khaki head.
The nose is chocolate roastiness with the faintest hint of plum dancing in the background.
Sipping on this one yields more of the same; the dark fruit is nowhere near as pronounced as id expected, and there is also a very light sweetness (vanilla?) that plays well alongside it.
Liked this one more than I thought I would.
