The first in our Ghost series, this is a medium bodied imperial red ale with moderate caramel sweetness balanced with hops.

Not too many Imperial Reds around, but if you're going to go big this is the way to go. Nice malt taste with bread notes. Pours a reddish- brown color with a medium head. The hop taste is there but not overpowering. Aroma is malt. This is a very good beer, but I think it would be better with a little less hop flavor. I really like a good red, but not necessarily a NW Red. 22 IBUs Rated 12-6-2022

Pours a nearly transparent reddish copper with a loose beige head that recedes slowly and leaves decent lacing. Aroma is predominantly sweet malt. The taste is sweet caramel, tropical fruit, and some lingering hop bitterness. Medium bodied , bitter aftertaste.
