I tried minnie winnie at Eli Cannon's Brewfest 2016, and thought it was the best beer there. It reeks of maple but on the first sip, all I taste is coffee- an intense medium roast coffee. I wait a bit. Second sip I get some of that maple smell, but I taste the maple. Third sip, I get maple coffee and butterscotch. The stout is light. Its very easy to drink. I love summertime stouts and minnie winnie delivers in spades. Fantastic beer. One of CT's best. Thumbs way up cold creek.
