My palate and sense of smell must be awful because when I first took a whiff of this beer, it smelled like pink lemonade and parmesan cheese. I couldn't quite put my finger on that note but it reminded me of the shakers of parmesan cheese at pizza restaurants.
The flavor further reinforced this note, as it literally tasted exactly how it smelled. Perhaps I'm insane but I swear that's all I taste here.
It's a good looking beer with an acceptable mouthfeel for the style, but I just didn't like the aroma or flavor at all. I'll gladly try this one again though to see how much my palate sucks.

The cold creek brewery caught me by total surprise. I tried their beer at Eli Cannon's brew Fest 2016 and I was very impressed. That was on a Monday and I drank so much that night, the world was spinning, but I remembered cold creek as it was sooooo tasty. On Wensday of the same week, I stopped by their brewery and I was impressed more. I tried all their beers, minus their golden stout. Betty Berry was a standout and I got a 32oz can of it. Its feels light in my mouth and initially it tastes very sweet. The sweetness quickly turns sour, but in a very positive way. Its becomes tart but sweet-tart. The flavour lasts in my mouth and I taste berries and tropical fruits. Per style, this is a little heavier than a typical berliner. I gave this beer to a few bartender friends and they were impressed too. While my beerAdvocate profile doesn't reflect it, I drink lots of different beers/ciders/ meads and I think Cold Creek is onto something. They're a small upstart, but their beer is really good. High marks
