L - yep, that's dark. Not fully black, but I can't see shit through it or around the edges. Light tan head floofs right up and looks almost... fuzzy.
S - bright, fresh, and hoppy. Reminds me of the summer months. Light coffee roast and bittersweet chocolate. Maybe a hint of smoke.
T - some unique flavors here. Oddly fruity, blackberries. Mixed in with the dark chocolate and brown sugar. Has a moderately bitter bite. Blueberries. Lots of berries makes this a bouncy and upbeat journey, not something usually found in dark beers. Some lactose toward the finish and a coppery dryness. Lingering is a slightly tart, mealy grassiness. Like chewing on those big meaty leaves that are kinda fuzzy. You know the ones I'm talking about. They've got milk in their stems. Not a botanist over here.
F - light and refreshing, but the carbonation is on point. Lots of times these lighter porters tend to be frail and fragile with too much carbonation, leading to a metallic and thin feel. This is very drinkable.
O - a unique porter, which can be a snoozefest style in this ABV range. Bubbly berry flavors and hoppy punch that dances between the dark roasty flavors.
