Can from the brewery
Hazy lemon yellow with a huge rock white head that persists. Citrus fruity lemony earthy grass on the nose. Flavor follows the aroma mouthfeel is gritty almost chunky.

Pint on draft at Quarry Tap in Hallowell, Maine.

Appearance: Fairly cloudy straw/orange. Short white head. Nice white rings of lace on way down.

Aroma: Nice nose of apricot, pine needles, lemon.

Taste: Follows nose. Slightly less punch on the palate than the nose though. Very little noticeable booze. Some malt backing.

Mouthfeel: Surpsingly thin for a fairly hoppy IPA. Easily drinkable. I wouldn’t call it “sturdy” though.

Overall: Nice IPA from a brewery I didn’t know much about. Somewhat sessiony; perhaps that’s what the lawnmower reference is about. Either way, glad I tried this.

From the 12 fl. oz. can dated 03/16/18. Sampled on May 13, 2018.

This has that typical New England IPA milky looking yellow pour but with a humongous white, puffy head. It leasves lacing.

The aroma is a pleasant array of citrus, fruit, orange. and a milder to moderate white bread presence.

Medium, smooth body.

The vibrant aromas seem to get lost in the taste as it comes across as grainy, yet sweet, with a lesser fruity and citrus profile. It still has a mild to moderate bitter finish. They call it a lawnmower beer and they are right.
