Standard Brewing Company

My wife and I, along with our son, stopped in here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Located right off the interstate, adjacent to a Motel 6, this is an open, bar-like brewpub. The feel is a little industrial, with galvanized steel ribbing on the bar and certain walls. There's a long bar, with a small brewing system at one end. They had about 6 of their own beers on tap, and another 4 or so guest taps. The food was very reasonably priced and fairly good. The beer had a homebrew quality, and nearly all the brews had a faint plastic or cardboard quality. However, the beers were clearly fresh, and there was a chili beer that was particularly interesting and well made. The service was okay. It was empty when we arrived, but started filling up as we left, at about 1 pm.
