12 oz can from the Wall of Beer in Clemson SC ($2.39). The can has a January 2022 date stamped on the bottom.
Appearance. Very dark reddish-brown and clear. Appears to be a porter rather than a brown ale.
Aroma. The spicy aroma was not at its best fresh out of the can and improved considerably with a few minutes in the glass.
Flavor. As the aroma suggests, this is a slouchy dark ale. It could easily pass as a winter ales although the spice profile is not typical of that style (minimal nutmeg, for instance)
