Look It pours dark brown with a brown head. Head retention is low.

Smell: There are chocolate aromas with rye and peppers. There are very low cocoa elements in the background.

Taste: There are flavors of chocolate and peppers up front that does produce some heat. There are background notes of rye and bourbon. There are very low notes of cocoa.

Feel: It has a full body with smooth alcohol warming. There is a bit of heat in the finish, but ti does not take away from the overall flavors and finish.

Overall, the peppers were well blended with the other flavors which is difficult to find the right balance, but I believe this beer has.
