L: Poured from a bottle to a pint glass. Had a dark, mahogany brown color and a thick, opaque consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, tan-colored head that quickly dissipated. Not much lacing to speak of.
S: A very good aroma of chocolate, chili peppers, malt, coffee, and vanilla.
T: Tasted of a fair amount of malt (present throughout, though subtle), a good shot of chili peppers (habaneros - but not too much, though), a decent bit of chocolate (always nice to have), and some vanilla notes as well. This is a subtle, well-balanced, and focused flavor. It has just the right amount of sweetness and heat.
F: An average amount of carbonation with a smooth, warm finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A very solid, easy to drink stout. Worth a try.
