12 oz can from the Wall of Beer in Clemson SC ($2.59), served in a Belgian snifter on Christmas Eve.
Appearance. Clear, orange-amber colored body with a decent white head.
This had a fine aroma that does rEdmond me of ginger snaps, among other things. The flavor, on the other hand, has a surprisingly mild ginger note and a surprisingly high amount of bready malts, but then it is a stout variant. Ginger influence is clear in the mouthfeel. Smooth body with medium-light carbonation and fairly light spicing made for a good holiday eve brew.
