Picacho Peak Brewing Company

Interesting old event hall turned brewpub. Sprawling ranch style building set back off the road. Nice stone arch to kitchen entrance (the long way to the bar) Small L-shaped bar seats about a dozen with a few tables and outdoor patio. They also have a banquet hall (don't know if it gets much use. About 15 beers on tap, I had the Father Time and the 575 Scotsman, both solid. Did not try the food.

I've only been in Las Cruces a few days, and don't know my way around that well, but this place seems to be well off the beaten track. It looks to be an older ranch building with a décor that can best be described as rustic or functional. the bar has a half dozen seats and the room has tables and high tops. A couple TVs in the bar area. Another room off this room, and a patio outdoors.
A dozen beers on tap. I had their take on a NEIPA, and it was excellent. I also had the porter, also excellent. I met the brewer and had a nice time speaking with him.
My wife and I had a veggie wrap, and it was a cut above the usual veggie wraps. The vegetables were sautéed, and mushrooms were included.
We had excellent service.
Will visit again during our time here in Las Cruces.
