Veiled golden color with no visible activity. Slightly foamy 1 finger head, lasting around 2 minutes, with shy legs and okay swirl reaction. Flavors of honey, sweet grains, pears, wheat, clove, Belgian yeast, and floral hops. Slick and oily medium body with crispy carbonation. Medium to strong strength finish, grainy and soft fruity, deep maillard effect that's too syrupy. Not much spiciness. Decently hidden alcohol, still quite warming. Lacks a refined body typical of Tripels, a bit too dull and not well attenuated. Moderate freshness. Overall average quality craft.
