Deepest black color with a huge mushroom beige head with eternal retention and leaving laces.
Nice aroma with notes of passion fruit, mango and lychees.
Bold and very hoppy flavor that made me sneeze (my internal hop gauge tool). Notes of grapefruit, pine, roasted malts, charred wood, resin, grapefruit, cola, flowers, licorice, spices, coffee and mild dark chocolate. Quite dry aftertaste with a nice not overly aggressive bitterness despite of its 90 IBUs and with a long residual taste.
Very intense brew, but still rounded and complex Black IPA. Top notch. Interesting that its aroma were able to be very tropical as opposed to have predominant roasted notes.
