Pours a clear, deep amber coloration with lots of tiny particulates suspended in the glass and a medium, fluffy head. Smells of light grainy malt and floral, stone fruit/citrus hops, with notes of apricot and tangerine. Taste is a good balance of light grainy malt and floral, fruity hops, with stone fruit and citrus notes of apricot and tangerine, as well as perhaps just a hint of gooseberry. Finishes with a light/medium bitterness and some apricot and tangerine lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a light body and medium carbonation.
To be honest, I haven't always been a huge fan of Insel-Brauerei's beers in the past, which is why this one came as a pretty positive surprise to me. It looks good in the glass, with a pleasant aroma and a good hop profile for a non-alcoholic beer that lacks any overly vegetal or soapy notes and feels rather fruity instead, with a certain zesty tang that lends a spritzy and refreshing character to this. Body and mouthfeel are pretty decent for the style as well. Overall, this makes for an enjoyable and refreshing non-alcoholic beer that indeed makes for a great summer ale, although it almost reminds me more of a Fassbrause.

L:
-pours a hazy deep golden with a medium, foamy, offwhite head
-medium carbonation visible
S:
-grapefruit,resin,spicy,orange zest
T:
-grapefruit,sour grains,resin,spicy,cereals
F:
-medium carbonation
-light,watery body
O:
I guess this is supposed to be the Alcohol free version of a Pale Ale.
The Aroma is pretty nice, but on the tongue the typical sour-ish grainy taste of a lot of alcohol free beers takes over.
The "Snorkelers" version was a lot more pleasant.

another more than decent abv free beer form Rügener. However this one is more easily to spot that it is alcohol-free compared to the snorkeler. It has an raoma typical for such beers which reminds me of unfermented wort, but after warming up a little bit some fruitiness managed to come through. The taste is quite good and packs a substantial bitterness making it quite refreshing. The body is just fine. Overall I like the snorkeler more but this does not have the salt and therefore is a bit more accesible.
