Rügener Insel-Brauerei "Hiddenseer Weizen Alkoholfrei"
,5L brown glass bottle coded "MINDESTENS HALTBAR BIS ENDE: 6 27 LOSNUMMER BRAUEREI 2".
Sampled on 20 April 2026
Notes via stream of consciousness: It has the typical Bavarian weissbier appearance with a cloudy golden orange body and massive head of fluffy white foam. The aroma has a wort-like note to it. It's grainy and wheaty but I'm not finding any yeast character. On to the taste - there's a pretty bright note of apple to it, but just a bit of clove, and even less banana. There is a touch of citrus to it. It's grainy and wheaty and wort-like just like the aroma. There's some minor acidity to it, which is fairly common, and the bitterness is restrained. In the mouth it's medium bodied and crisp. The head retention and lacing are both excellent. All in all it's a decent non-alcoholic beer but the wort-like character is distracting, at least at the outset.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
