Pours a muddy, peach-papaya color with a very thin and short-lived, off-white head. Modest lacing.
Great fruity, sour, tropical fruit punch aroma.
Just shy of puckering sourness in the taste, with more of that strong tropical character: passionfruit and papaya stand out clearly, to the point you can almost taste the fruit flesh. Strong acidity in the finish.
Fairly full bodied with lively fizz.
Great use of tropical fruit in this one, and no shyness about the sourness either.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a reddish / orange color and an extremely cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy head that quickly dissipated. Not a whole lot of lacing.
S: A very nice aroma of tropical fruit, yeast, a floral quality, and citrus fruit.
T: Tasted of a little bit of yeast (present throughout; not a bit factor), a whole lot of tropical fruit (passion fruit, in particular), some citrus fruit notes (lemon, especially), and a tiny amount of the floral quality. This is a tart, sweet, and lively flavor. Not as sour as some beers of the style, but still lively. Pretty tasty.
F: A well-carbonated beer with a sharp finish. Medium-bodied.
O: A well made and lively sour. Worth a look.

Poured from a 16 oz. can.
Hidden Springs Aleworks really has the Berliner Weisse style locked down in Florida.
This smells like a fruit juice cocktail and drinks like one! The kicker is the expected tartness which the hibiscus accentuates quite well! SUPER easy to drink and perfect for those hot days in Florida. Definitely one to pick up again and again and again.

Two words can sum up this beer - tart and juicy...
I was shocked when I tasted this - the pucker power without being a true sour was astounding, even more so was how much I liked it since I am no fan of sours. Great looking beer with orange gradient highlights and a smell full of oranges, grapefruits, and a touch of hops. The mouthfeel, due to the sour flavoring, makes for a highly astringent feel, I can feel my tongue tighten from the carbonated liquid. Anyway with the same citrus flavoring the beer - it truly makes this unique and tasty. I really enjoyed this for the experience more so than anything else...

Poured from a tallboy can into a Laughing Sun tulip
L: Cloudy peach colored pour with thin white head. Nice lacing.
S: Tart and funky... green fruit, floral and hibiscus.
T/F: Light... sour with a moderate pucker. Green fruit and hibiscus... light peach... grass/wheat... passionfruit and lemon. Well carbonated... some funk, and one you can feel in your salivary glands. The finish is more unripened fruit and tartness.
O: A very nice Berliner Weiss... good mix of flavors and the hibiscus plays nicely with the sour. Good beer!
