Deep ruby purple red body, clear. Rich cherry skin, nothing anywhere near artificial, but tart cherry flesh and medium lemony acetic acidity. Maybe a touch of lemon. Chocolate is mild here, contributing a touch of sweetness. Good balance, lighter medium in body.

Undated can. Possibly canned around 1/26/21 per Instagram.
L: Pours a deep ruby red. Aggressive pour yields a big pink head that quickly thins to a film, then nothing. No lacing.
S: Cherries and chocolate, as advertised. Not muted, either.
T: Tart cherries, followed by smooth rich chocolate. More tart cherries at the finish, but not too tart.
F: Mouthfeel leans thin, which is OK given the richness of the cherry and chocolate. Not much carbonation.
O: Tastes and smells exactly as it's billed. Well-balanced; neither the cherry nor chocolate overwhelm the other. Rich but not heavy. One would probably be enough, but Hoochie Mama!

I wasn't sure about this at first, because chocolate-covered cherry is kind of weird to have as a drink. My second can the next day was great. I think that they got the flavor spot on and it is a good tasting sour.

I really want to like this beer, but damn, I'm just not into sours...and this bad boy is definitely sour...
I really loved the look of this beer - a bright reddish hue that was so very appealing to the eyes. The smell was an almost perfect blend of chocolate and cherries, but that's about all I enjoyed. Mouthfeel was sour, oh so sour and the taste was drowned out by the 'sourness' of the beer. Overall, it's obviously not a bad brew, I'm sure there are some that will love this, but for me, it's just another sour I just can't take...
