Jedi Mind Trick is next on the review table. Served at 44 degrees in a tulip glass. I figured out what mind trick this bastard was hiding. When I opened the can, it blew up everywhere. I spent the last 20 minutes cleaning up this mess. I am sure the beer has warmed up a few degrees. I am left with 8 ounces out of 16. The pour was a vast bubbly, airy, light pink salmon color with poor retention. The color is close to salmon pink, like wild salmon. The beer is hazy and cloudy from yeast and fruit. The appearance is average.
Nosing the glass, I smell tropical, lightly toasted malts, vanilla, and fruity esters. I want to find dragon fruit or passion fruit; however, they blend, making it hard to identify.
I taste passion fruit, lemons, lightly toasted malts, and light honeysuckle.
The mouthfeel is flat because all the carbonation is on my walls and finishing tart. The body is light and has zero carbonation.
The beer has pleasant tropical flavors and slight tartness despite blowing up on me. Overall an okay sour.
